Berendine Venemans is an artist engaged with the irreproducibility of performance and resistance to reproduction. The experience of performance is not preserved as an object, but as a potential, a script without a definitive form that is continually reactivated. The archive no longer functions as a mausoleum, but as a generative system that produces performativity rather than closing it off.

In this presentation, Venemans explores, together with four performance artists, the paradoxical practice between archive and repertoire: the former as material storage, the latter as embodied knowledge that circulates through performativity.
