In Architecture, The Art of the Process shifts architecture from product to process. The works of Milan Meeuse, Christina Nan, Femke Stout, and Tom Veeger show how curiosity not only determines the outcome, but also shapes thinking itself. Here, design becomes visible as exploration, as a play of possibilities in which experiment and reflection go hand in hand. The architectural object becomes a snapshot within a continuous process of reinterpretation.
The student work from the seminar Suisse Concreteness and the seminar Sitting, guided by Stout, Veeger, and Ruurd Roorda, illustrates how these processes manifest in an educational context: concepts are tested, ideas repeated and rearranged, and knowledge circulates through collaboration and evaluation. The selection of graduation books by Maarten Willems for the “library” functions as an archive of thinking-in-motion, in which the process is preserved without being fixed.
This exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture, TU Eindhoven.
